And a Sweater Not Done

I just failed at knitting my first sweater, but here's what I learned in the process:

• Do not knit a first sweater (or any sweater) on teeny size 3 needles


• Do not knit a first sweater with expensive Rowan yarn


• You should choose a sweater you are excited about


• You should get help when learning how to sew sleeve seams

I guess what's important, though is that I'm a way better knitter now because of the sweater, so oh well that it's unflattering, unfinished and has terrible sleeve seams. I plan on getting help at a yarn shop on how to put together the other sleeve, just so I know how to do it. I'm a little upset, but not bitter.
