It's too hot....I'll make some jewelry

Ugh...I could not go outside yesterday. I can handle 80 degrees, sometimes 85, but when it's 90 out, I stay inside in front of the fan. So I finally got around to making something with the beads we got in Burien, amongst other things. Here's what I came up with.

Finally...Sheets!

I have been in desperate need of new sheets! Here is my comforter cover

It's actually a bit smaller than my comforter, I just made some quick measurements and did everything by eye. But it does its job.

Yellow dress!

I'm really happy with the way this turned out since. The fabric was thick home-dec fabric, so I wasn't sure if it would work as a dress. Actually, it had a band of yellow around the bottom, which only made the dress open up, making it look like I was Alice in Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole.

A Dress and A Bag

Finished this a couple of weeks ago. I needed a big bag to bring to work.

I made this with some fabulous blue pinstriped shirting fabric. I love it. And it was a quick sew. Now I just wish it would heat up outside.
